Susan Rice unmasking scandal cries out for a grand jury
Each day brings new headlines about the troubling surveillance of President Trump and his team by the Obama Administration. It’s time for an independent investigation–and a grand jury.
The more we learn the worse it gets. This week bombshell revelations show that President Obama’s National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, unmasked the names of Trump transition members caught up in Obama Administration surveillance. That unmasked intelligence was then widely disseminated and leaked to numerous media organizations in direct criminal violation of the Espionage Act.
Unmasking U.S. citizens in surveillance requires very specific legal and factual circumstances. By all appearances, the unmasking of Trump transition members was done for political, not national security reasons – a direct violation of agency policies and likely of federal law.
But beyond Susan Rice, there needs to be an investigative spotlight focused directly on former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who signed off on the troubling expansion of the distribution of intelligence materials in the final days of the Obama Administration.
It was Lynch who on January 3 approved changes to Executive Order 12333 that facilitated the spread of raw signals intelligence throughout the intel community, just days before President Obama left office. In effect, that revision expanded the authority of the National Security Agency to share globally intercepted personal communications with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies.

Darn tooting it needs to go before a grand jury…. There should be an investigation into Loretta Lynch too. Obama got her to sign that law to share intelligence and I think that is because he has his people in the intelligence community that will get it all to him in now so his shadow government can thwart Trump at every turn. These people are criminals and should be treated as such! They remind me of Muslim’s who do similar things for their Allah….and have no conscience about it.
These Are the Questions Susan Rice Needs to Answer
Did she abuse her position for partisan reasons? The House Intelligence Committee reportedly wants former national-security adviser Susan Rice to testify in the probe of alleged Russian election interference, which now includes evidence that Obama officials may have improperly used intelligence gathered on President Trump’s transition team. We’ve been incessantly assured there’s nothing to this story. Perhaps. This week, though, Rice felt the need to seek out a friendly face in NBC’s Andrea Mitchell — although there were plenty to choose from — to tell us that she never improperly unmasked any Trump transition officials whose conversations were caught on surveillance. Now, there are a number of worthy follow-ups that Mitchell forgot to ask. But since Rice says nothing unethical transpired, there should be no problem in her answering those queries under oath.

During the presidential transition, Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice boasted publicly she had her replacement Gen. Michael Flynn’s back, but apparently, the whole time she’d been stabbing him in the back instead.
“General Flynn, I am rooting hard for you,” she said in remarks delivered at a Jan. 10 conference on the transition.
“While it’s no secret that this administration has profound disagreements with the next one, I intend to make myself available to him, just as my predecessors have for me,” Rice said. “We are all patriots first and foremost. Threats to our security and democracy should be above partisanship.”
Speaking at the “Passing the Baton” forum hosted by the US Institute of Peace, in Washington, Rice waxed on about how helpful she’d been to her successor, Flynn, even though White House computer logs recently uncovered by congressional investigators reportedly indicate her office secretly spied on him and other Trump figures during the transition period.
“As part of the transition, I’ve had constructive meetings with General Flynn, and my team has met extensively with his,” Rice chirped. “I’m very proud of the professional manner in which we have conducted this transition. This was a tough and hard-fought election. But, our national security is — and must always remain — above the fray.”
“This goes beyond party or politics,” she added.
Rice, however, is now suspected of having led a political witch hunt against Flynn , who resigned as National Security Council director after several officials within the Obama administration illegally leaked raw intelligence reports about contacts he had with the Russian ambassador in December. Though there is no evidence Flynn promised anything to the Russians, his failure to disclose the contacts proved an embarrassment to the Trump White House.

The half-baked lies of Susan Rice
The Obama adviser’s record of deceit is catching up with her
Most reasonable observers believed or at least hoped that the nation would finally be spared having to listen to the Clinton and Obama administrations’ go-to liar after last November’s election. In the normal course of events, National Security Advisor Susan Rice would have simply packed her bags and vanished into well-paid obscurity at a “progressive” university or think tank. But it was not to be.
The woman who has been blamed with some accuracy for more fiascos than most can count is still with us. She first publicly demonstrated her bad judgment as far back as 1996 when as the Clinton National Security Council’s senior director for African affairs, she successfully urged the Clinton White House to refuse a Sudanese offer to turn al Qaeda’s Osama bin Laden over to the United States. Bin Laden had helped engineer the first World Trade Center bombing and, but for Ms. Rice , would have been taken down before he and his buddies finally brought the towers down eight years later.
No doubt gaining prestige for this sage advice, Ms. Rice steadily rose to become what passes for a foreign policy superstar in the Clinton and Obama world, finally ending up as President Obama’s national security adviser, where she worked internally to weaken this country’s support of Israel and was constantly available to heap praise on her boss and his accomplishments. She was selected by the White House communications team after the terrorist attack in Benghazi to falsely blame a hapless filmmaker for the debacle lest Mr. Obama’s re-election narrative that he had the terrorists on the run be jeopardized. It was then that Ms. Rice came into her own as a liar.
Utilizing talking points put together and given her by Obama aide Ben Rhodes, she took to the Sunday talk show circuit, appearing before every camera she could find to declare the filmmaker the villain while insisting that the White House and Mrs. Clinton were blameless. It wasn’t until Judicial Watch went to court to get copies of the Rhodes emails ordering her to lie to protect her bosses that the public began to appreciate her talent for telling whoppers.

Gorka Considers Watergate A ‘Spat In The Sandbox’ Compared To Susan Rice
White House aide Sebastian Gorka and Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday boldly speculated about the Obama administration surveilling the Trump transition team, a situation they see as “beyond Watergate.”
Gorka suggested, based on the comments of a “former operative” he heard speaking on Hannity’s radio show, that officials in Obama’s White House could have been analyzing the phone patterns of Trump’s top staffers. His argument hinged on many “ifs.”
“If you want to attack me or Steve Bannon or Steve Miller or Kellyanne Conway, you say, ‘Oh, they regularly call their nephew in Canada. Well, that’s a foreigner,” he said. “I don’t need the same kind of intelligence authorities to intercept a foreign call. Then you start to find a way to unmask all of these conversations so that you can make political profit. That’s a very, very tenable theory.”
“And that’s the kind of thing we have to find out if it was really happening,” Gorka continued. “Because if that’s the case, that is weaponizing intelligence for political purposes against your other party.”
There is no evidence to suggest that anything like what Gorka described had occurred.

WashPost: No Fact Checker Pinocchios for Susan Rice’s Unmasking Flip-Flop
So how could the Washington Post Fact Checker, Glenn Kessler, possibly avoid awarding a bunch of Pinocchios on April 6 to Susan Rice for her recent flip-flop on the unmasking of Donald Trump campaign people? In a March 22 interview with Judy Woodruff, Rice denied any knowledge at all of this yet she later admitted to unmasking names in a MSNBC interview on April 4. Kessler acted all perplexed about the contradiction. He was so busy scratching his head over this that he somehow forgot all about the very obvious Pinocchios that should have been awarded while wondering Did Rice mislead on PBS? Read more @
Susan Rice, Obama colleagues take heat for past claims on Syria chemical weapons purge
Susan Rice and other former Obama administration officials are taking heat for past claims that their 2013 Syria agreement successfully led to the Assad regime purging its entire chemical weapons stockpile — in the wake of this week’s alleged sarin gas attack.
On Thursday, President Trump launched a targeted strike at a Syrian airfield in response to what he called a barbaric chemical attack on innocent civilians at the hand of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
“There can be no dispute that Syria used banned chemical weapons, violated its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and ignored the urging of the U.N. Security Council,” Trump said.
Video footage from the chemical attack scene immediately raised credibility problems for claims made by members of the Obama administration that the prior agreement had rid the war-torn country of chemical agents.
During an interview this past January with National Public Radio, former National Security Adviser Rice touted the “success” in Syria, in striking a deal with Russia’s help that resulted in the prior administration dropping the threat of military action.

Disgraceful LYING LIARS: Susan Rice bragged in Jan that Obama got Syria to ‘give up’ chemical weapons
Susan Rice lied about Benghazi, lied about chemical weapons in Syria and lied about surveillance of Trump. Can’t believe a word she says.

Could it be that Susan Rice lied … again?!
But Susan Rice and John Kerry said there were no more chemical weapons in Syria thanks to Obama.

Susan Rice said in January there are verifiably no chemical weapons in Syria, so she knows nothing about unmasking.

MSNBC’s Reid: Susan Rice ‘Trying to Explain How Government Works’
Saturday, MSNBC “AM Joy” host Joy Reid played a clip of President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice claiming she did not leak intelligence reports.
According to Reid, Rice was “trying to explain how government works” to those who do not know.
“This is Susan Rice defending herself,” Reid said before the clip began. “She was on with our own Andrea Mitchell yesterday trying to explain how government works, for those that don’t know.”

Sebastian Gorka: Assad attack shows Susan Rice was wrong
One of President Trump’s top assistants said Saturday that Syria’s chemical attack on its own people proves that former national security adviser Susan Rice was wrong when she said that country had purged its chemical weapons stockpiles.
“Who told us that Syria no longer had chemical weapons? It wasn’t just the Russians. It was also Susan Rice,” Deputy Assistant to President Trump Sebastian Gorka told Fox on Saturday.
Gorka was referencing a January National Public radio interview the former national security adviser gave in which she touted “success” in Syria. She praised President Obama ‘s ability to strike a deal with Russia that prompted Obama to drop his threat of military action against the Assad regime.

Susan Rice Touted ‘Success’ in Syria as Recently as January
Dubious claims made by former National Security Adviser Susan Rice and other members of the Obama administration regarding Syria have attracted jeers and catcalls from conservatives following this week’s sarin gas attack. Contrary to their repeated assertions, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad did not destroy his chemical weapons stockpile, in violation of the Obama administration’s much-touted chemical weapons deal of 2013.
“There can be no dispute that Syria used banned chemical weapons, violated its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention, and ignored the urging of the U.N. Security Council,” President Trump said.

Massacre Children, Bomb Villages With Nerve Gas, Sponsor Terror—Get Billions of US Dollars!
What a laugh-riot Raul Castro must be having at the expense of his chum and ally Bashar Assad!
Best we can tell from recent news, using poison gas against villagers, massacring children and sponsoring terror groups will get a dictator’s fiefdom bombed by U.S. planes on the orders of U.S. presidents.
Fine. Now let’s take these airstrike-inducing items seriatim and see how they apply to the poison-gas-wielding, children-massacring, terror-sponsoring dictator who dwells—not thousands of miles distant from our shores in a barbarous medieval pesthole!—but on our very doorstep in a nation formerly richer and more modernized than much of Europe and that formerly hosted more Americans as residents than America hosted Cubans.
Some might even say that the above attributes would make airstrikes against this current criminal, repressive and terror-sponsoring fiefdom — to say nothing of the “nation-building” afterwards—immensely more sensible and easier.
“Cuba is using a lethal mixture of Soviet-supplied mustard gas and nerve gases to flush out South African-backed Angolan rebels from their strongholds in remote areas, Jane’s Defense Weekly reported. Prof. Aubin Heyndrickx, head of toxicology at the University of Ghent in Belgium and a U.N. specialist on biological and chemical warfare, was Quote: d as saying that his evidence is based on environmental samples taken from the Angolan battle zone in April. Soil, leaf and water samples showed clear traces of mustard gas and nerve gases, Heyndrickx told the London-based weekly, which specializes in military matters.”
Got that, amigos? That’s from Jane’s Defense Weekly—not exactly a “Spanish-language Miami-based scandal-sheet!” And the documentation was provided by a Prof. Aubin Heyndricks of the Univ. of Ghent and U.N.—not exactly an “embittered, loud-mouthed, right-wing Cuban exile!”

Syrian Survivor Praises Trump’s Airstrike On CNN, Asks Critics Where They Were During Obama’s Inaction
Kassem Eid survived the 2013 chemical attack in Syria. As someone who has seen the government’s horror firsthand, he is one of many Syrians who are overjoyed at the Trump administration’s response to the most recent chemical attack. During an interview with CNN’s Brooke Baldwin on Friday, he could not contain his gratitude for Trump’s aggressive and long overdue response to the Assad regime.
“I cried out of joy. I thanked God. I don’t know. I was overwhelmed. We’ve been asking for protection. We’ve been asking for consequences for more than six years I cried out of joy. I thanked god. I don’t know. I was overwhelmed. We’ve been asking for protection. We’ve been asking for consequences for more than six years and today for the first time it happened, for the very first time we see Assad held accountable just for once, held accountable for his crimes against humanity. I was overwhelmed. I felt grateful for President Trump. I felt grateful for the United States.”
Baldwin, skeptical of Eid’s praise for Trump’s foreign policy, pressed her guest for his thoughts on Trump’s temporary travel ban on Syrian refugees. Instead, he exposed the hypocrisy of those who are quick to criticize the president, but slow to stand in solidarity with the Syrian people. Where were these verbal warriors, he wondered, when President Obama failed to act after the 2013 attack? His “red line” threat against Assad turned out to be empty.
“With all due respect, with all due respect, I didn’t see each and every person who was demonstrating after the travel ban. I didn’t see you three days ago when people were gassed to death, when civilians were gassed to death. I didn’t see you in 2013 when 1,400 people were gassed to death. I didn’t see you raising your voice against President Obama’s inaction in Syria that led us refugees, that made us refugees get kicked out of Syria. If you really care about refugees, if you really care about helping us, please, help us stay in our in our country.”
Eid again commended Trump for the airstrike and urged him to take more action so that Assad’s power can be eclipsed and Syrians can stay in their country.

Ticketing error cited for calling off fundraiser featuring Susan Rice
The American Association of University Women and Women Helping Girls announced late Friday that the “Women Helping Girls Conference 2017” scheduled for Saturday, April 8, has been canceled, including afternoon workshops featuring keynote speaker Grace Byers and an evening session featuring former national security adviser Susan Rice.
According to Dr. Cheryl McKeiver, vice president of development for AAUW, a ticketing error forced the cancellation.
Rice, the top Barack Obama administration diplomat whom President Donald Trump accused Wednesday of participating in illegal surveillance of his presidential campaign, was to speak at the fundraiser for a local girls mentoring program.

Idaho: Refugee Boys Admit To Sexually Assaulting Five-Year-Old
Three refugees, ages 14, 10 and seven, pled guilty to sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl in Idaho.
The boys, one from Iraq and two from Eritrea, entered their guilty plea last week but the case’s resolution received almost no national attention. (RELATED: NYT Admits CNN And MSNBC Are Ignoring Rockville Rape)
“We agreed to the plea bargains. That by no means implies my clients were, or are, fully satisfied with the outcome of these cases or the prosecuting attorney,” Mark Guerry, the attorney for the girl’s family told the Idaho Statesman. “After 10 months their right to some form of justice was long overdue.”
“They were prepared to testify at a trial or enter into to plea agreements months ago. More importantly, no convictions or mere words in statements could ever mitigate the unrelenting trauma and grief their little daughter now suffers as a result of this vicious sexual assault,” Guerry added.
The Washington Post and other liberal news sources last summer rushed to cover inaccurate claims about the assault (that the suspects were Syrian, for example) — which they used to try to pour cold water on anger surrounding the assault — but have so far remained silent on the boys’ admission that they did, in fact, sexually assault the little girl.

Twitter pulls lawsuit after feds drop summons for anonymous user’s identity
April 7 (UPI) — Twitter on Friday withdrew its lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Homeland Security after the agency abandoned efforts to identify a user who’s been highly critical of the government.
The social media company pulled its suit in U.S. District Court in California a day after it was filed. Twitter pursued the legal action claiming federal authorities were trying to pressure it to identify the user behind the account @ALT_USCIS.
Twitter said agents with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol had made attempts to unmask the anonymous user, who has claimed in posts to be an employee of the federal government. In recent months, @ALT-USCIS has made a number of posts critical of Trump’s administration and U.S. immigration officials.

Famed NYC bakery’s immigrant workers defy Trump
NEW YORK – Workers at a famed New York bakery, who face a deadline to produce immigration papers, are instead defying the government in public — at President Donald Trump’s Manhattan home.
The 31 employees of the Tom Cat Bakery will be fired and could be deported if they cannot prove by April 21 that they’re working in the country legally.
The mostly Spanish-speaking workers and about 100 supporters rallied outside Trump Tower to protest what they called the Trump administration’s “bullying.”
The Department of Homeland Security set the deadline for the workers to show their employment documents.

Scholar Says It’s Time To Fix The Education System And Launch A Commission On American Exceptionalism [VIDEO]
An expert on higher education is recommending President Donald Trump establish a blue-ribbon commission on American exceptionalism with historians, entrepreneurs and experts to counter the left’s cancerous narrative that America has irredeemable flaws.
“College produces people who think that the great lesson they’ve learned is that Western civilization is rotten to the core, that America is an experiment in hypocrisy and that the only thing we can do is overturn what our forefathers have handed down to us,” Peter Wood, a leader in higher education reform says.
Wood is the president of the National Association of Scholars (NAS), an effective nonprofit based in New York that defends intellectual freedom and free speech in higher education. He attended a White House meeting recently where he recommended the Trump White House launch a blue-ribbon commission.
“American higher education took the news of Trump’s election quite badly,” he says in this exclusive video interview for The Daily Caller News Foundation. As colleges appear to be the home base of the Trump “resistance” movement, Wood says students are demonstrating their utter ignorance that the Electoral College is the system Americans use to select a president.
Wood blames Republicans who have turned their backs on higher education for 50 years. He says we are seeing the consequences of “a system of well-funded corruption on the part of the Congress,” which allows the money that flows into higher education to work as a kind of jobs program for retired politicians. In colleges, ideological zealotry abounds, conservatives on the faculty are almost non-existent and students are subjected to four years of intense indoctrination, he says.
Partially because members of the media and Hollywood have attended American colleges, the scholar claims “the result of that is that we have an educated public in this country that is now mal-educated.”
His organization issued an explosive report this year, Making Citizens , that exposed “the un-making” of American citizens through activism training, and increasing incidences of “volun-tyranny” for progressive agitation and causes.
