Ragnarok teaser trailer

Okay guys, I’m new here, so please don’t kill me for disagreeing with most of the people here in my very first post.
“Thor: Ragnarok” was a movie I was really looking forward to. More than probably any other MCU-installment until now. Now I don’t really want to go to the cinema anymore to watch it. This has nothing to do with high expectations, but with the general tone of the movie. Ragnarok, the apocalypse in norse mythology, has alway been something very exciting, but also very dark and brutal in both comics and myth. I didn’t expect something as dark and brutal as, for example “Watchmen” or “Logan” (awesome movies) in the MCU, but I would have really liked something more serious than the other two Thor movies, maybe on the level of “Captain America: Winter Soldier”. But apparently “Thor: Ragnarok” is going to be some kind of flashy, colourful space comedy like Guardians of the Galaxy. The only positive thing I can say so far is that Hela looks really badass.
And before everyone says “Well, it’s just a trailer, let’s wait for the movie to actually be released.”, director Taika Waititi has already said that it will be the funniest version of Thor we have seen so far.
Just to clarify things: I love funny superhero movies. “Guardians of the Galaxy”, “Ant Man” and “Deadpool” have all been awesome, but I genuinely think, Ragnarok is the wrong storyline for a comedy.
Was it my mistake and was it absolutely predictable that the movie would turn out like this?
I am open to anything you have to say in defense of “Thor: Ragnarok”…
