THURSDAY, APRIL 13:
16.00-17.30: 40 Years of Star Wars.
Disney and LucasFilm have already teased that “surprises” are expected. We already know that Hayden Christensen will be making his first appearance at the event since The Revenge of the Sith and many expect that he will return in The Last Jedi as Anakin’s Force ghost.
20.15-21.00: Ian McDiarmid: Tales From the Dark Side
The man formerly known as Emperor Palpatine, aka Darth Sidious, will share his anecdotes from filming two trilogies.
21.00-22.00: Doug Chiang: The Production Design of Rogue One
CHiang has already teased fans with details of the design of Darth Vader’s castle on Mustafar and raised hopes that we will be seeing more of it in The Last Jedi.
22.00-23.00: Ray Park: Prepare to be Mauled
Apart from the terrible pun, Park has seen his character’s profile raised recently with powerful episodes of Star Wars Rebels, which seemed to confirm that Obi-Wan no longer believed that Anakin was the Chosen One.
23.00-00.30: LBGTQ+ in the Galaxy Far, Far Away
Will we see the first major gay characters in The Last Jedi? JJ Abrams already confirmed their existence and many (including actor Oscaar Isaacs) have admitted there may be more to the The Finn and Poe bromance. DISNEY Many fans want a Finn and Poe romance
FRIDAY, APRIL 14
16.00-17.30: The Last Jedi panel (teaser trailer at 17.01)
This is the big one. Fans are expecting the first teaser trailer to be shown. Rampant speculation and leaks fuelled hopes that we will see Han Solo’s funeral, Rey’s Jedi training, Luke speaking to a Force ghost plus new characters played by Laura Dern and Benicio del Toro.
18.30-19.30: The Making of Rogue One
20.30-21.30: The Heroines of Star Wars DISNEY/FS Han Solo will be played by Alden Ehrenreich
22.30-23.30: Mark Hamill’s tribute to Carrie Fisher
No Star Wars fan or lover of film will want to miss this. The two stars remained friends through the decades and Hamill is sure to raise tears and a few laughs with his memories of the lady we always knew as Princess Leia.
00.30-01.30: The Life and Times of Han Solo
We thought that his life was over but the upcoming Young Han Solo movie with Alden Ehrenreich will introduce new information and a full back story. Fans will be hoping for teasers and information about the new project as well as one last moment with Harrison Ford.
